Ultra-thin Bonded Asphalt Surface (UBAS) Paving is a preventative maintenance procedure that helps pavements last longer. Open graded hot mix asphalt is placed over polymer modified asphalt emulsion through a special self priming pump.  Normal UBAS lift thickness can be anywhere from ½” to ¾” and this special membrane helps prevents water leakage with a superior bond to the old asphalt or concrete.
